Overview

Design X turns scan data into an editable CAD model. Teams use it when CAD goes missing or when a drawing stops matching the real part.

Design X combines mesh processing with history-based parametric CAD modelling in one environment. Teams import scan data, align it, and begin building solid features directly over the scan — then refine the feature tree in the same session. Live Transfer pushes the finished model into CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, or Creo as a native, editable file with its feature history intact. This cuts re-modelling time on legacy part recovery, tooling projects, and design change workflows where the physical part is the only reliable reference.
