For structured feeders and pallets where parts arrive in a known orientation, 2D vision delivers fast cycle times with accurate pick-point location. For bin picking where parts arrive in mixed or random pose, 3D vision calculates the correct position and angle before each pick. Code verification before placement ensures traceability and prevents wrong-part placement across assembly or packaging stations.
