Latent Mobile Robot

Under-load lifting for rack, trolley, and carrier movement inside the plant.

Overview

A latent mobile robot uses a lifting mechanism and carries loads under racks, trolleys, or carriers. It fits internal transfer where loads sit on stands or racks and need lift-and-move handling.

Latent mobile robots navigate under a rack or carrier, lift it using a built-in mechanism, and move it to the destination point. This approach works for goods-to-person workflows where racks of goods travel to a picking station, and for internal stores-to-line supply where heavy racks need regular repositioning. Laser-SLAM navigation removes the need for floor markers and adapts to environment changes over time. Auto charging and return-to-task routines keep vehicles in continuous operation. Obstacle detection and emergency stop features allow safe operation alongside workers. Qubotix supplies Hikrobot LMR series and manages full deployment.
