Repetitive manual dimensional gauging was a bottleneck — slow, operator-dependent, and prone to measurement system error. The customer required a fully automated inline measurement solution that did not require fixture changes between part variants.
2Our Solution
Qubotix implemented a machine vision dimensional measurement system using calibrated cameras and sub-pixel edge detection algorithms. The system measures critical dimensions on each part in-line and records data to a quality dashboard in real time.
